I was wondering when you got your first check when you made your money online through a forum what did you do with it. Did you buy more bandwidth or a domain or something else? Birthday Grin

Funny, yet definitely true. Smile

Any money I make would first and foremost go for the site. Always a larger hosting plan or more domain names to buy. Very Happy

Same here, most money just goes to hosting, domains, advertising, and internet costs.

I did get to make one purchase last year, though. Used profits to buy a new Power Mac. It's SWEET! And the best part is that it's a tax write off, too!

This year, profit is going to pay for travel to a huge Cornhole tournament that I'm partially sponsoring. Paid vacation!

Definitely my first hobby that's ever bought me fun stuff. Very Happy

Thanks Ryan! I guess it's all relative, but I like to pretend I'm doing well.

If you figure the amount per hour, given all the time I put in, the numbers look a lot less impressive. Laughing

It seems like that most people did the same thing as myself. I too paid my hosting bills. But I am also making a profit that I use to reinvest in new projects.

Pop and candy bar.
My first check was not even enough to cover hosting cost.

That was less then two years ago.

How things have changed in such a short time. Smile
