IB has updated their forum to the new vB4 beta lately, and published the demo for the new integrated CMS on friday. This is looking very promising, and I waiting for the public beta release in the middle of november.

I might consider to upgrade several of my communities to vB 4 as it most probably will make the integration between the CMS and forum pretty easy. (Less work for me.)

If you're curious about vB you'll find the forum with the demo at vBulletin.com.

PS: I've already upgraded all of my licenses to vB Suite. Just in case I'm gonna use the CMS.

I've been betatesting vBulletin 4 Suite, and I gotta say: This is very promising. This definately better then my test with IPB that I did a month ago.

So do anybody else use vBulletin? And will you upgrade to the Suite?

I do not use vB but do hear good things about it. It's nice to hear they have upgraded though! Smile

How big of a change is vB 3 to vB 4? Mostly security stuff or lots of new features? Smile

1. They have made a new CMS for the Suite. (Which so far has been great in my testing.)
2. Blogs are also a part of the new suite.
3. Skinning are easier for the user.
4. A lot of new minor features for the forum script itself.
