I'm wondering if there's anyone who has a site dedicated to a certain profession or line of work .i.e. law enforment, medicine, education.

What offline methods do you use?

Good idea for a thread. Smile

One of my communities is a martial arts community and that can be a profession. We have done some small offline things (like offering members a printable ad for the site to stick on their school's bulletin board). But, that's about it right now. Smile

As I have gone back to school to study math to become a teacher, I've been thinking about the possibility of starting a new community for teachers. There are no norwegian communities for teachers, and I believe it could be a pretty good idea.
