Does your staff strictly moderate the forum or are their duties further expanded beyond the typical moderator role?

Various aspects of community management in a nutshell is the structure, aesthetic design, marketing, promotion, server side and actual community management. So how far does your staff go with you in running your site? Smile

My moderators will usually only focus on moderating. I wouldn't mind if they got more involved but I don't want to make them do something they might not want to do since I am not paying them to be moderators. I do however include them in staff meetings so they can give their opinions on decisions from the top Razz.

My mods tend to both contribute and moderate, obviously the percentage of each can vary between the individual. When I pick them it's normally because they are a good contributor and are level headed so it tends to work out that way.

As for mods, super mods and admins, I make all my mods super mods so if they see something outside of their forums, they can clean it up.
