Hello jalicea,

Thanks for sharing.

Here are some random thoughts:

The logo text, etc. seems to be kind of hard to read/jagged. You might opt for less words and a cleaner font.

In the forums area, I expected to be able to click on "Greetings, Salutations and Introductions," for example but then I understood the red links were the individual forums. For some reason, this seems counter-intuitive. It also seems like there are a lot of sections given the amount of content.

You might make the "Tell A Friend" link at the top left of the forums a lighter color to make it easier to read.

I hope that this is helpful.

Best of luck with your site!

Thanks,

Patrick

Hey jalicea,

My pleasure. Smile

Recruiting members is a big topic. But, creating a nice, easily accessible project is a good start. Make sure search engines can spider you in an efficient manner with good thread titles, etc.

Beyond that, communities grow one at a time. So, you might start by asking friends who have an interest in the topic to participate. If you have 3 members, love those 3 members and grow to 4, then 5, etc. etc. etc.

Affiliate with like-minded sites, if you can. Make it easy for people to share the community with their friends and encourage them to do so properly.

Some general tips, hope they help.

Thanks,

Patrick
